3 = “Walk to the Cross”. (open 5-6:30pm) a personal, interactive devotional with stations that have objects of the events on Jesus' journey to the cross. Each person gets a devotional prayer book to use at each station.

Sermon Series is "Sticks and Stones". Sins are like stones in the field of our life. They can trip us, prevent growth, and stack up to make barriers in our life. But at the cross & empty tomb, Jesus rolled the greatest stone away. This is a reflective series and clearing up our lives of stones.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE:
* Maundy Thursday Service: April 2, 6:30p
* Good Friday Tenebrae Service is April 3 at 6:30pm. Doors open at 5pm however for a "Walk To the Cross" meditation. You can carry the patibulum of the cross 2000' feet like Jesus did. Feel Roman armor; swing a Roman whip; feel a crown of thorns, smell what burial myrrh smells like, and more. This experience will be from 5-6:30pm.
* Easter Service Breakfast is at 9:00am and a wonderful Worship celebration of the Resurrection unto life will be at 10:30am! We hope you will come!
FAITH 417 "CHILI COOK OFF FUNDRAISERS
BEGINS APRIL 7!!
In 2026 we are having FOUR Chili Cook-Offs to raise money for people in our community who are in need. On the first Tuesday of April, May, June, and July, you can donate a pot of chili, or just come in and buy some chili and take it home to eat! Award given to most votes for "best chili", and all money raised will go to support the corresponding local Homeless Shelter, Food Pantries, and Social organization for the month.
Each cook off is held at Faith Lutheran Church 2134 Grand Ave in Carthage from 5:00-7:00pm. Take out only.
Church cleaning day
Saturday, March 28 at 10:00am. We will do a deep clean to prepare for Easter visitors and making the Church extra nice
KIDS QUEST Starts April 14, then each 2nd Tuesday of the month
is a time for young families to eat, do activities, enjoy a puppet show, and learn about the Bible. It's hard for little children to sit still during Church, so we offer this time for family spiritual growth. 5:30-7:00pm. Drop us a line and we will let you know of the upcoming dates!
"BRAIDED" Couples Date Night
the Bible says, "A braid of 3 strands is not quickly broken. Braid 2 stands together and it quickly unravels; but braid THREE strands and you get a strong rope! If your marriage could use some help, weave God into your relationship.
Friday, April 24 from 6:00-8:00pm enjoy a free night together of fun that also enrich your relationship. Dessert and couples activities, and a devotional talk on "Lost In Translation" Improving Communication & the 5 Love Languages"
